From humble beginnings, Jim Thorpe rose to great heights. Not least of his accomplishments was winning two gold medals at the 1912 Olympics. What’s crazy about this? Aside from other things, he wasn’t even wearing matching shoes. But then…. the medals were stripped away…and then given back…sort of… about 70 years later. What can we learn from the trials and triumphs of one of modern history’s greatest athletes?
